Training Camp Begins with a Sour Note

Jason Taylor, a six-time Pro Bowl defensive end for the Miami Dolphins, was traded Sunday to the Washington Redskins.
The deal came about nine hours after starting defensive end Phillip Daniels suffered a season-ending left knee injury on the first day of the Redskins' training camp.
Taylor, the 2006 NFL defensive player of the year, fell out of favor in Miami after spending his off-season on the TV show "Dancing With the Stars" rather than working out with teammates.
The Redskins gave the Dolphins a second-round pick in 2009 and a sixth-round choice in 2010.
