Clinton Portis scores to give the 'Skins their 4th straight win.

The Redskins spotted the Eagles 14 points before gaining a single yard Sunday, but fought back to beat the Eagles 23-17 and improve to 4-1 on the year. With spectacular blocking, particularly on the edges, the Skins pounded out 203 rushing yards against a defense that had
been allowing an average of 53.8 per game. Clinton Portis, who finished with 145 yards on 29 carries, had a 4-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter on which he was not touched. LaDell Betts added 9 carries for 44 yards.
QB Jason Campbell was 16/29 for 176 yards and Antwaan Randle-El threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to Chris Cooley, who had 8 catches for 109 yards.
Shaun Suisham kicked three field goals beyond 40 yards, helping the Redskins overcome the 14-0 deficit. A 41-yarder put Washington on the board, and he nailed a 48-yarder to make it 14-6 after a 15-play drive that lasted 8:19. Then he connected from 50 yards to get the Redskins within 14-9 at halftime.
Washington's offense didn't commit a turnover for the fifth straight game.
Oddly enough, the Redskins, at 4-1, are tied with Dallas for SECOND place in the NFC East, behind the unbeaten defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants.
The Skins will host the struggling St. Louis Rams next Sunday at 1pm.
