(Pictured) Josh Brown kicks a 49-yard field goal on the last play of the game Sunday, giving the St. Louis Rams a 19-17 upset of the Washington Redskins.
The Redskins entered the game as the only team in NFL history to open a season with no offensive turnovers through its first five games — for that matter, the offense hadn't fumbled the ball even once — but that good fortune ended with four fumbles in six possessions.
RB Clinton Portis had 129 yards on 21 carries for his third straight 100-yard game. QB Jason Campbell completed 18 of 26 passes for 208 yards. TE Chris Cooley had 5 catches for 57 yards, and WR Antwaan Randle El also had 5 catches for 87 yards.
The Rams win ends an eight-game losing streak over two seasons and made Jim Haslett a winner in his St. Louis head coaching debut.
The Redskins fall to 4-2, but remain tied for second place in the NFC East with Dallas, who lost in overtime to the Cardinals. The Skins host the Browns next Sunday at 4:15pm.
