Skins Pounded By Giants 23-7

The Redskins were simply outplayed on both sides of the ball Sunday as they fell to the defending Super Champion New York Giants for the second time this season 23-7.
On the day when Sean Taylor was enshrined in the Ring of Honor at FexEx Field, the Redskins seemed to be going through the motions as they fell to 7-5 and behind the Cowboys for 3rd place in the NFC East.
QB Jason Campbell completed 23 of 38 passes for 232 yards with yet another interception. Campbell also led the Skins rushing attack with 38 yards on 5 runs. Clinton Portis had 22 yards on 11 carries, and Devin Thomas (pictured) carried once for the Skins only score on a 29-yard reverse.
TE Chris Cooley again led receivers with 6 catches for 71 yards. Moss and Randle El had 4 catches each for 55 and 37 yards respectively.
Once again, when behind, the Skins abandoned their game plan and went heavy passing attack, but refused to throw the long ball, with the longest reception of the day being Moss' 23 yarder.
The Skins travel to Baltimore next Sunday to play the Ravens.
